Cutting Edge Video Walls
LED video walls are at the forefront of audio visual technology and have evolved quickly over the past few years. High-definition displays of all sizes have become focal points in a variety of markets including schools and auditoriums, corporate boardrooms, huddle rooms, performing arts centers, government buildings, hotels and spas, and houses of worship.
An LED video wall heightens the aesthetic of any installation, large or small. As technologies improve they have become more budget friendly and are now in high demand. Recent Corporate installations by PCD include Traditional Medicinals and Covia which have installed 2x2 and 3x3 video walls respectively.
Much larger and more difficult installations PCD completed include the ACT Strand Theater, where a 28-foot wide by 18-foot high translucent LED video wall is composed of 126 smaller LED screens that have been seamlessly pieced together. The screen is visible to anyone passing by Market Street in San Francisco by foot or car, and draws the viewer in with its impressive display.
Further south in the Bay Area, the Harker School in San Jose did a massive installation of a 34-foot-wide by 15-foot-tall digiLED video wall in the lobby. Spanning two stories, the video wall showcases a variety of still photos and rotating artistic installations, creating a visually dynamic canvas. This impressive installation was featured in a 2018 issue of Sound & Communications Magazine.
Whether used to promote your company branding or display a simple photograph, LED video walls are becoming mainstream as companies compete for greater visual appeal than their competitors.
